Courtney Mendenhall '10 - May - June Alumnae Online Exhibition

I paint abstracted interiors and landscapes comprised of playful shapes and angles. My finished work is the result of exploration, beginning with a vague image that is ultimately destroyed through a continual process of scraping out, painting over, and rotating the canvas, until the image becomes something wholly new.
