Learning Through Photography at Moore

A program of The Galleries at Moore and Moore College of Art & Design's Art Education Department

EDUCATOR SEMINAR

July 9 - 13, 2013 | 9am – 5pm daily

Using photography and writing as tools for learning is the goal of Learning Through Photography.  This seminar successfully improves K-12 teachers’ knowledge base in all content areas by maximizing collaborative teaching skills, and demonstrates how to tap into creativity in meaningful ways to connect curriculums through art.

Open to all educators and offered as a 3-credit graduate-level course through Moore College of Art & Design, Learning Through Photography (LTP) seminar prepares teachers to:

  • Include art in existing lesson plans
  • Collaborate with other K-12 teachers
  • Create rubrics
  • Talk to area thought leaders on education, art and literacy
  • And, we provide media supplies for your classroom! (Digital cameras, Printers, Paper/Ink)
