Interior Design majors may choose to conduct their internships in a variety of different settings such as at small private design firms, large commercial companies, or at institutional organizations concerned with space planning and facilities management. In addition, students may receive in-depth experience and develop skills dealing with different facets of the industry including residential, sustainable, healthcare, or entertainment and recreational design.
