Each day I worked one-on-one with renowned installation, sculpture, and performance artist Janine Antoni. I was involved in conversations and idea-building for projects. Janine embraced me immediately and trusted that the skills I learned at Moore equipped me to be a valuable studio assistant. I used skills I learned at Moore—like mold making and concept sketching—and worked as a production assistant on one of Janine’s newest pieces. Janine is also a dedicated wife and loving mother who delicately balances all of these roles so central to my own dreams and aspirations. Janine even took the time to critically discuss my artwork.
