ART & DESIGN STUDIOS

Moore is uniquely suited to help you achieve your goals for personal and career development. With a 160-year legacy of educating students for careers in art and design, Moore is the only professional college of art and design in Philadelphia specializing entirely in the visual arts.

The Art & Design Studios supplement certificate programs and offer adult men and women the opportunity to expand their creativity in Moore’s dynamic environment. The studios are designed to provide a relaxed, yet inspiring setting for practicing artists and beginners alike.

The reasons for enrolling are as varied as the people who study with us. Some do it for fun. Others want to use new tools, improve a technique, or experiment with new media. Programming fosters the re-envisioning of personal and professional creativity and project-based learning develops essential skills.

Art & Design Studios include digital photography, jewelry and small metals, graphic design, painting, textile design, clay, observational drawing, perspective drawing, visual fundamentals, and architectural drafting.  Several courses meet portfolio and skill development requisites for entry into fine art and design degree programs.

In addition to the Art & Design Studios, students are welcome to take any course offered in the Certificate Programs, which include a wide range of courses in the areas of digital design, fashion studies, and interior design.

Moore’s vibrant Philadelphia campus is home to a close-knit community. As an educational leader, Moore is committed to developing confident students with the professional skills to succeed
