A certificate from Moore College of Art & Design is a prestigious credential that helps you achieve your career goals. Certificate Programs currently offered are: Web Design, Digital Media for Print & Web, Fashion Studies: Apparel Construction, Fashion Studies: Technical Design, and Interior Design Studies.
The development of personal vision and innovative problem solving are encouraged along with technical proficiency. Classes take place in modern studios and the Fox Center for Digital Arts, Design Media & Printing with state-of-the-art equipment and industry-utilized software.
A flexible and dynamic approach to learning is based on the time-honored strengths of Moore’s degree programs and the experience of our award-winning faculty, who are committed to sharing their knowledge and bringing real world know-how into the classroom.
Each program’s comprehensive curriculum comprises eight courses that can - but are not required to – be completed in one year. Students earn undergraduate-level credit which may apply to undergraduate degrees or be used to meet graduate degree prerequisite requirements. Certificate graduates are prepared to go forward in a creative and fulfilling career

Certificate Programs are open to anyone interested in pursuing a certificate for professional and personal growth. The only prerequisite is a high school diploma or its equivalent. A majority of our students have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in an area entirely different from the Certificate Program in which they are enrolled.
To become a Certificate candidate, download the Certificate Declaration Form and submit it to the Office of Continuing Education with a $25 nonrefundable application fee. Certificate Declarations are accepted throughout the year and you may begin a program in any quarter.
There is no deadline for completing a program once begun. Many students take one course a quarter and complete a program in two years and others take two courses a quarter and complete in one year. All courses are offered in alternate quarters (for example, a course offered in the spring will be offered again in the fall; a course offered in the summer will be offered again in the winter). To earn the certificate, courses must be taken for credit.
