Lecturer in the Department of Art history, Södertörn University College, in Stockholm, Sweden, Charlotte Bydler is also a freelance art writer and critic. A pioneer of global art studies, she is the author of The Global Art World Inc. On the globalization of contemporary art (2004). Her current research centers on globalization, cosmopolitanism and internet art.
