Moore Catalog Wins ADDY Awards

Moore College of Art & Design's BFA Catalog and collateral pieces took home three gold ADDY awards at the Philadelphia Ad Club's 2008 Show in March. The catalog produced by Paragraph, Inc., a local brand agency, was named Best of Arts & Sciences in three categories. Moore's Admissions and Communications Departments worked closely with Paragraph, Inc. and portrait photographer Trevor Dixon to complete the project.
In an effort to implement environmentally friendly design techniques, the paper used in the catalog was created entirely using wind-generated energy. Pages 1-72 were printed on 100 percent post-consumer waste, while the cover and remaining pages (73-88) were printed on paper made from 30 percent post-consumer waste.
Paragraph, Inc. participates annually in Moore's Graphic Design Department portfolio review process. The company is also currently working on the redesign of the College Web site, due out later this spring.
