Job Title:  Director of Graduate Studies
Department:

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
Moore seeks a full-time, year-round Director of Graduate Studies to lead its new low-residency graduate programs and assume the primary administrative and recruitment management responsibilities for the graduate programs, including direct management of the Graduate Program Managers, recruitment and enrollment management, program planning, marketing, budgeting, symposia planning and coordination, fundraising and faculty hiring.  The position includes a reduced teaching load of 3 credits per calendar year.
Qualifications/Requirements:
The qualified candidate must have a terminal degree in Art Education, Interior Design or Fine Arts discipline and a demonstrated record of 2-5 years of successful college-level teaching with a strong capacity for project and fiscal management including the ability to plan and coordinate program development. Experience in developing innovative curricula desired.  Excellent leadership and communication skills required. Position starts Spring 2008. Moore seeks a Graduate Program Manager to provide visionary leadership for a new low-residency MA program in Art Education with an Emphasis in Special Needs. The MA Art Education Graduate Program Manager will provide administrative and curricular oversight of the new graduate program, including all aspects of program planning and implementation, i.e. student recruitment and enrollment, budgeting, marketing, recruitment and faculty hiring, annual symposium development and coordination, student advising and thesis tracking. The position includes a reduced teaching load of 6 credits per calendar year.

Previous administrative experience is required. Applicants should possess a terminal degree in Art Education or equivalent experience and a demonstrated record of 2-5 years of successful college-level teaching with graduate level teaching desired and experience teaching art in K-12 schools. Job Title: Assistant to the Co-Director for Continuing Education/Office Manager
Department
: Continuing Education
Reports to: Co-Director for Continuing Education
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
1. Financial Management
    a) Under the direction of the Co-Director for Continuing Education prepare and manage budgets.
    b) Work closely with college’s business office to manage tuition income, refunds, and all monetary transactions.
    c) Review and troubleshoot monthly reports for Continuing Education from the business office.
    d) Responsible for maintaining ledgers, general accounting, generating purchase orders, check requests, and checking for accuracy.
    e) Manage faculty contracts.
2. Office Management
    a) Answer phone inquiries.
    b) Carry out clerical duties.
    c) Keep office organized and stocked with supplies.
    d) Maintain inventory
    e) Ensure that all office machinery is properly maintained.
3. Database
    a) Manage Continuing Education component of college-wide database system, PowerCampus, inputting information and   extracting records to produce a range of reports.
    b) Produce reports from Access database program.
    c) Maintain for accuracy and currency.
4. Assistant to the Director
    a) Assists Co-Director with all clerical and administrative tasks including maintaining filing system and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
    b) Assists Co-Director with scholarship and discount programs
    c) Assists Co-Director with faculty recruitment process
    d) Assists Co-Director with program evaluation process
5. Work/Study students: Schedule, train, and supervise work/study students for regular office hours, weekends, and special events.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· BA or equivalent and at least two years administrative experience including financial responsibilities with non-profit or educational organization.
· Experience with accounting.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Access and Excel.
· Excellent customer service skills to serve diverse customer base.
· Flexible schedule to include ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
Working Conditions: Primarily office setting; some local travel required

Job Title: Instructors in Studio Art & Design
Description:  The Continuing Education Department at Moore College of Art and Design has opportunities for part-time instructors with master’s degrees or equivalent professional experience to teach courses in the following areas:  digital media for print and web, photography, interior design, fashion design, and fine arts (two dimensional and three dimensional).  Courses meet one evening a week or on Saturdays for 10-week segments.  Salary varies with program and experience.
