Library Instruction – Library tours, review of search methods and instruction on accessing
materials through the online catalog and databases are offered to all students on an individual basis or through group workshops. Forms to schedule library instruction are available here or at the library Circulation Desk.
Reciprocal Borrowing - The Library also maintains reciprocal borrowing agreements with over 45 area college and university libraries through the Tri-state College Library Cooperative. For a complete listing of participating libraries, please visit http://www.tclclibs.org/members.htm. In addition, Connelly Library has a reciprocal agreement with the University of the Arts allowing for the free exchange of library materials for students and faculty of both schools. To borrow materials from any of these other libraries, patrons must present a valid Moore ID and a completed Letter of Introduction. The Letter of Introduction is available at the library Circulation Desk and must be completed by a library staff member.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) - Patrons seeking materials not owned by the Library may request those materials through Interlibrary Loan. Please contact the Senior Library Assistant for further information. Caution: Interlibrary Loan takes time. Plan ahead!
Audio Visual Department - The Library houses a wide selection of AV equipment including slide projectors, overhead projectors, MAC computer “smart carts”, digital cameras, and sound and recording equipment. AV equipment may be checked out with a valid Moore ID and library card. AV equipment is checked out for same-day use. Special arrangements can be made with the AV Specialist. AV equipment may be reserved in advance for classroom use at the Circulation Desk.
Faculty Course Reserves - Materials selected by the BFA faculty that are pertinent to students’ coursework are on reserve behind the Circulation Desk. Course Reserves may be checked out with a valid library card for in-library use only. Faculty should visit the Course Reserves policy for more detailed instruction and a Course Reserve Request Form.
