The Capital Campaign
Moore’s Capital Campaign is an ambitious fund-raising initiative dedicated to strengthening the College now and in the future. The Campaign’s initial phase successfully raised more than $20 million. As a result, Moore’s campus now sparkles with expanded and modernized facilities and light-filled studios. Students enjoy increased access to technology. And Moore has enhanced its prominence as a cultural landmark on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Goals of Final Phase of the Capital Campaign
The goal of the final phase of Moore’s Capital Campaign is expand and enhance educational opportunities to ensure that Moore is in the vanguard in preparing leaders in the visual arts.

Priorities include:
- 10 endowed scholarships to assist students in meeting the costs of a private visual arts education.
- 3 Women’s Leadership Fellowships to enhance opportunities for students to develop leadership and professional skills.
- 3 International Fellowships to encourage cross-cultural exchanges.
- 3 endowed professorships to attract the very best faculty and continue to provide a high-quality personalized education for our students.
- Endowed fund to support technology and innovation so that Moore keeps pace with changing needs of a 21st century visual arts education.
To celebrate major gifts to the Capital Campaign, a magnificent Donor Wall designed by Moore alumna Marie Wolfington Jones ’77 enlivens the outer lobby.
