Books - This collection consists of circulating, Reference, Permanent Reserve and Course Reserve books. It provides broad-based coverage of the history, theory, criticism, and practice of fine arts and design, while supporting art education and the liberal arts. Students may check out a maximum of 20 books. Most books can be checked out for 3 weeks.
Archives - This collection showcases the history of the College as well as the work of our faculty and alumnae. Former students’ theses and winning fellowship proposals are located in the Archives. Also housed in the Archives is a distinctive collection of artists’ books. Students, faculty and staff may request materials from the Archives by presenting a valid Moore I.D. and a completed Application and Registration for Research Form. Journals - This collection consists of over 130 current art, general and reference periodicals. In addition, the Library houses bound periodicals from past decades that are an invaluable resource for student and faculty research. Periodicals are for in-library use only.

Picture File -The Picture File, organized by subject, consists of individual images collected over many years. Up to 10 items from these files may be checked out for 3 weeks.
Videos and DVDs – A collection of art and technique videos and DVDs are available for circulation. These materials may be checked out for 7 days.

Slides – The Slide Collection includes 130,000 slides covering all aspects of fine art, art history, architecture and design. Slides may be placed on reserve in the Slide room up to one week in advance of the day needed. Patrons must select, assemble, and return slides in person. Slides are for on-campus use only. Patrons must have a valid library card in order to use the Slide Collection. Please contact the Slide Curator for more information.
ARTstor Digital Library - ARTstor provides access to works of art and other cultural materials with descriptive information for the images presented. ARTstor currently includes about 300,000 digital images ranging from standard art history survey materials to specialized collections. ARTstor is a broad and insightful online resource for teaching and research in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
