Internships
Internships are a centerpiece of Moore’s professional education programs. Moore has been offering students internships for over forty years and encourages students from all majors to participate in this unparalleled experience. Typically completed between junior and senior years, internships expand upon the classroom experience by engaging students in real-world projects, and introducing them to their future professional peers.

The staff at The Locks Career Center, along with Moore faculty, work closely to help each student connect with the internship that is the best match for her skills and ambitions. Moore students are in demand, and employers praise them for their strong work ethic, creativity and outstanding skills.

Employers say...
“She is absolutely exceptional. We’ve had interns for years, but if she is a sample of what Moore is turning out, you’re sitting on a gold mine.”
Owner, Interior design firm

“I never expected to give her pages to design. But, because of her design skills, that was most of what she did while with us. I think you are preparing them for the real world, unlike students I interviewed from other colleges.”
Art Director, National magazine

“She, as well as all of Moore students, has wonderful talent! She has great vision, is a quick thinker and problem solver, as well as being a terrific painter.”
Owner, Scenic painting and display design company

“She is a remarkable person; I could not have asked for more in terms of her abilities and attitude toward her job and fellow employees. She assumed extra responsibility without being asked, and was self-sufficient in managing the gallery.”
Owner/Director, Gallery

“She is stellar. She’s perfectly trained. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give her a 12. She’s really creative with great conceptual skills and color skills. She’s raised the bar around here on how to work. I hope she will want to make a career here. In a few years I’ll be working for her.”
