Teaching is an opportunity for artists to share their skills and passion. Moore’s Art Education post-baccalaureate program prepares students for a K-12 teaching certificate through school observations, guided teaching in Moore’s Young Artists Workshop, observation experiences in area schools, classes taught by award- winning instructors and student teaching.
This program is geared toward individuals whose college degrees include at least 54 studio art credit hours and a 3.0 grade point average. Admitted students may begin the three-semester program in the fall or spring term. Four of the courses are taught in the evening, two on Saturdays. There are 60 days of student teaching.
