Job Title:       Educational Support Writing Coordinator
Department:        Educational Support Services
Exempt Status:    Non-Exempt         

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:

Provide writing assistance and tutoring to all BFA, Post Baccalaureate and graduate students.  Maintain students’ academic writing progress records, provide workshop instruction throughout the year, and support the First Year Writing Program.  Provide support for all graduate students for academic writing and thesis papers.  Assist in administering the Summer Pre-Orientation Program for incoming students on probation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
1.    A Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts based discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
2.    Experience working with College and High School level students in academic and non-academic contexts.
3.    Experience working within a higher education setting.
4.    Experience working with students who have learning disabilities.
5.    Strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to work with students regarding sensitive areas of learning.
6.    The ability to communicate and work effectively with faculty and other staff members from a variety of offices.
7.    Strong computer skills, particularly in Word Processing and Microsoft Excel.  Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite preferred.  Knowledge of and experience with both PC and Macintosh platforms preferred.
8.    Ability to interpret psycho-educational evaluations and other disability documentation and determine eligibility for disability services preferred.
9.    Strong presentation and organizational skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job Title:        Circulation Supervisor
Department:  Connelly Library
Exemption Status:    Non-Exempt

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
We seek an energetic, experienced and service oriented individual to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate all activities connected with the circulation of library materials, including patron registration, checking in and out materials, shelving, reserves, and renewals.  Hire, train, schedule, and supervise work-study students.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have library reference and supervisory experience, sufficient to demonstrate competency with MAC and PC software applicable to library searches, networks, daily operations, and supervisory management.  Must have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as decision-making and organizational skills.  Experience with the Innovative Interfaces integrated library system desirable.

Educational experience: MLS, MLS candidate, Associate in Library Science.  Other relevant experience will be considered.

Instructors in Studio Art & Design

The Continuing Education Department at Moore College of Art & Design has opportunities for part-time instructors with master’s degrees or equivalent professional experience to teach courses in the following areas: digital media for print and web, photography, interior design, fashion design, and fine arts (two dimensional and three dimensional). Courses meet one evening a week or on Saturdays for 10-week segments. Salary varies with program and experience.
