Heeseung Lee – Director of Admissions & Enrollment Management

Heeseung graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art, majoring in Ceramics and minoring in Art History. She is an alumna of the New York Studio Program and The Clay Studio residency program, and currently maintains an independent ceramics studio. Heeseung enjoys traveling, especially to meet talented prospective students. She collects paintings, drawings, ceramics, as well as paper products and miniature fake food from around the world.

Oversees the counseling of all applicants.

Lori Hoffman - Assoc. Director of Admissions & Counselor

Lori graduated from Moore College of Art & Design with a BFA in Illustration. She enjoys drawing, traveling, writing, and collecting vintage children's books and artwork. "I love talking with the students about their art and goals during the portfolio review. It's a great opportunity to learn more about them and what they want to become as artists and designers". Lori is the admissions department liaison to Community Colleges.

Erin Murphy - Assistant Director of Admissions & Counselor

Erin has a BFA in Illustration from University of the Arts and often collaborates artistically with her identical twin sister. She loves to travel and has lived in Europe, (Prague, Czech Republic). She is an avid collector of music, sci-fi trinkets and 80’s era toys. In her spare time she rescues and fosters stray and feral cats. Erin is the special events coordinator for the admissions department, and works closely with Philadelphia City applicants.

Sarah Hunt - Senior Admissions Counselor

Sarah graduated from Moore College of Art & design with a BFA in Fine Arts: 2D, and a minor in Art History. Sarah is a visual artist and founding member of the Midwives Collective, an artist collective for women. Sarah also acts and sings and recently founded a new community theater project based in West Philadelphia. "Every young artist that I meet is an inspiration to me and seeing their ambitious work rejuvenates my own studio practice." Sarah is the admissions department liaison to Moore’s youth programs, and conducts portfolio preparation presentations.

Stefan Schechs - Admissions Counselor & Graduate Admissions Coordinator

Originally from Denver Colorado, Stefan graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he studied Ceramics, Printmaking, and Anthropology. Since relocating to Philadelphia, he has worked for various Philadelphia arts organizations including the Institute of Contemporary Art and The Clay Studio. He has a love of gastronomy and has great knowledge of local restaurants. Stefan is the admissions department liaison to area arts, culture, and community organizations, and also works closely with Post Baccalaureate Art Education applicants.
