Sarah Worthington Peter founded the Philadelphia School of Design for Women in 1848. The College became Moore College of Art & Design in 1989.
Moore offers nine majors, each leading to a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree.
Majors include: Art Education, Art History, Curatorial Studies, Fashion Design, Fine Arts 2D or 3D, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design and Photography & Digital Arts.
