A Letter from the Alumnae Association President

Greetings Moore Alumnae,

I’m so glad you’ve taken the time to visit the Alumnae pages of the Moore Web site! Here you’ll find our calendar of upcoming events, exhibition dates, opportunities, ways to give back and exclusive benefits for alumnae.   Plus, you can easily update your contact information, send in your news and sign up to receive additional information by email.  All this will help you stay connected to Moore and your fellow alumnae.

Over the past ten years, we’ve seen the Alumnae Association grow in stature within the Moore community.  As your President, I look forward to continuing to build on the outstanding foundation created by our past presidents and Director of Alumnae Affairs, Doris Chorney. And I encourage you to get involved in whatever way is right for you, from attending events, to serving on a committee.

And one final note.  As alumnae, we must all do what we can to ensure that Moore has the resources to continue training women in the visual arts at the highest level.  Your gift, in any amount, will enhance the College’s ability to offer scholarships to talented, deserving students, attract first-rate faculty and maintain state-of-the-art facilities.

General Information

The Alumnae Association consists of nearly 5,500 alumnae residing in the US and abroad. Alumnae stay connected through the collaborative efforts of the Alumnae Affairs Office and the Alumnae Advisory Board. They work to connect alumnae to the College and each other.

The Association’s goal is to promote and share the achievements of alumnae, encourage volunteerism, provide educational and enrichment programs and actively support the College’s fundraising efforts.
