Laurie Goddard '78 - September - October 2010
As and abstract painter, I am primarily concerned with color, texture and line quality. I love subtle shifts of saturated color strengthened with lines, some hidden, some alluding to landscape or flowers. My current materials are water based paints and encaustics on both panel and paper, with the addition of semi-precious leaf which I patina, charcoal and pencil. I have been a full time artist for almost 20 years now, thank you Moore!
