For more than 40 years, internships have been at the center of our academic program. Internships are oftentimes the first step down the professional path. Sometimes they even lead to a first job.
Internships are required for all students majoring in Art History, Curatorial Studies, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Photography & Digital Arts and Textile Design. Students pursuing a degree in Art Education have a student teaching requirement instead of an internship.
The staff at the Locks Career Center for Women in the Arts collaborates with Moore’s faculty, assisting each student as they identify and secure the internship that aligns with their skills, ambitions and career goals.
