Art Education majors participate in formal training within the classroom as student teachers. Under the supervision of the chair and the faculty of the Art Education department, these majors will receive an assignment at a K-12 school working with a certified teacher. In addition to student teaching, majors in this department may learn related skills in museums, community art centers, summer camps and parks and recreation departments.
