Connect to a number of other resources.
The Internet is an invaluable resource for artists, designers, art
educators and art historians seeking career and professional development
opportunities. However, it can be a little overwhelming to wade through the
thousands and thousands of websites devoted to art and design, especially
during the transitional period right after college when the pressure to
find a job becomes a reality. The Locks Career Center for Women in the Arts
has compiled these electronic resources to make the search for meaningful
work a little easier.
Be aware that the web is in a constant state of flux and that things
change daily. Therefore, although we researched the list thoroughly prior
to providing this information, you may find a few dead links. Please bring
these problems or any great sites you have discovered to the Career
Center’s attention by e-mailing Belena Chapp at bchapp@moore.edu.
