Certificate Programs

Two New Certificate Programs

Advance your career. Enrich your life.

The certificate programs at Moore offer a competitive edge, opportunities to develop technological skills and enhanced scope for personal enrichment. These programs provide instruction in some of today’s most exciting and rewarding fields of study: Art & Design Fundamentals, Digital Media for Print & Web, Digital Photography, Fashion Technology and Interior Decorating.

Certificate programs are of great value for beginners and those wishing to make career transitions as well as established professionals wishing to maintain proficiency in these rapidly developing fields. All of the programs are grounded on the mastery of basic concepts and technological resources such as computer-assisted drafting for interior decorating students and understanding of the MAC computer environment and essential software programs for digital media students. Higher level and specialty courses build upon these fundamentals and insights into the business world, helping students use their Moore experience to achieve career success and lasting achievement.

The course structures of these certificate programs are based upon the scheduling, educational and career needs of part-time students. Flexibility and an emphasis on the development of fundamental skills are the keystones of Moore's certificate programs. Students can complete the certificate program in one year by taking two courses per semester or students may choose to take courses at their own pace. To successfully complete the certificate program, students are expected to pass and complete 16 credits. Elective courses are available to certificate students at an additional cost. Electives are not required, however, students are highly encouraged to tailor their program and specific interests through elective courses, which can be taken for credit or non-credit.
