Change your life, Make your mark, Graduate Studies at Moore
Applications are now being accepted for the Summer 2011 Sessions!
Three unique graduate programs at Moore prepare motivated men and women with the skills, knowledge and resources to become professional artists, designers and teachers. All three low-residency programs recognize the critical value of professional exposure and require a field practicum, internship or international studio residency. These programs emphasize critical thinking, innovation and the synthesis of theory and practice. Self-directed research and rigorous inquiry are key components.
Candidates have the opportunity to work closely with professionally active faculty artists, educators and designers, and will work independently with professionals in the field. Each program hosts an annual symposium featuring guest speakers of national and international significance, focusing on contemporary issues in art, education and design.
The three low-residency programs’ summer intensive, evening and weekend year-round scheduling are well suited for working adults seeking to acquire new skills and perspectives in their current studio, design or teaching practices.
