Sarah Peter Society: Dedicated to Supporting Education for Women

Named in honor of Moore’s visionary founder, the Sarah Peter Society recognizes alumnae, parents and friends who show their dedication to Moore’s mission through significant financial support.  As a community, the Sarah Peter Society supports the top initiatives at Moore:

• Scholarships are a key factor for many of our students in their decision to attend Moore. With generous support from alumnae, family, friends and corporations, Moore provides over $3 million in aid to students each year and keeps the Moore experience available to talented women of from backgrounds. • Internships connect students to real-world experience in their field and are required for all students to graduate. Beginning in summer 2010, Moore will provide a $1,000 Internship Fellowship to each junior. Read more about our student internship experiences here.
• Leadership and Travel Fellowships from $1,500 to $2,500 offer students the opportunity to compete for unique local and international experiences to enhance their skills. Read more about our student fellowships here.
• Campus Quality and Sustainability Initiative promotes energy efficiency and ensures that Moore remains at the forefront of advances in classroom technology.
