By the time they are seniors many students are ready to leave the more traditional residence hall setting and live on their own in nearby apartments. There are many apartments in Center City and in the Art Museum area that are within easy walking distance of the College. The Residence Life Office has some information about off–campus housing opportunities and can give some assistance to students seeking to live off–campus. However, most students use Craig’s List, the apartment rentals sections of local newspapers or network with each other to find appropriate accommodations. The College does not supervise, inspect or otherwise guarantee such locations, nor does the Office act as mediator between landlord and tenant. Students who move off campus should obtain a change of address form from the Registrar’s Office, which will be distributed to other offices of the College.
